This colourful unframed artwork is an original lino block print in a limited edition of 7 which is created using the colour reduction method of printmaking. This means that it is not possible to create any more originals of this image as the matrix has been destroyed.

*About the Process*
All the prints are created on one linoleum block, using Imitation Japanese Vellum papers. It is 100% high grade woodpulp and is acid free unbuffered. The method used in these prints is called ‘reduction’ which means, the lino block has been cut for every colour, and then inked and printed on paper for every single print. The process is repeated on the same block until the image is complete. All the marks and cuttings have been made using gouges and lino cutting tools. All that makes it a unique art of obvious distinction.
Disclaimer: Despite my best effort, as every single image is hand printed, the colours may look slightly different from the images shown, which makes it a unique work of art. Please also be aware that the colours you see on your screen may be slightly different from the original prints, which is almost impossible to avoid.
